Shutter Speed Wk 7

This weeks Shutter Speed was really fun to put together. The chiefs really handed it to the Radiers this week and had some fantastic plays. I am especially proud of the open, which I shot in the studio last week. This was all edited in FCP. I used PS and AE as well.

KC Flight Trip

I got the oppertunity to take a ride with the guys from KC Flight last weekend. It was an unbelievable experience and I had a ton of fun. I shot all the stuff that you see in this video with a Go-Pro that I had with me. The guys were really awesome!

Shutter Speed Wk05 Colts

This was a piece that was featured on KCChiefs.com. I did not take any of the pictures or shoot any of this video (it was an away game) however I did put it together and did all editing. I used FCP, AE, Photoshop to put this piece together.

Let me know what you think. I was really pumped up about how it turned out. By the way, here is the link to this video on kcchiefs.com.

Week 4 Minnesota Vikings

Here is a bunch of the footage that I shot at this weekends game. It was an amazing game and I am glad we got a win in front of the home crowd. This was all shot with the 7d. Let me know what you think!

Time-lapse with the P2

Check out this time-lapse that I shot a few hours ago.

Game 01 Buffalo Bills

Well, the regular season opened this year at Arrowhead. No, it wasn’t pretty. No, it wasn’t the game I was hoping for… However I did get to do alot more this game then I ever had. I was really on my own the whole day shooting on the Canon 7d and 5d. I got to shoot time-lapses and lots of video. I learned so much from my first real gameday shoot and I will be able to shoot the next home game quite a bit better. I am very proud of what I did shoot, and I actually got the Jamal Charles TD run on the 24mm wide angle lense. Anyway, here is some of the stuff that I shot at the game…

Redline Chemistry Shoot!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to update the site, but didnt want to write out another novel, so I decided to put together a quick video of some of the footage I have shot when working on the Redline Chemistry shoot with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Thanks everyone for your great feedback so far!

Chiefs Update #2

Hey, everyone!

I have been trying to find time to write a post to update all of you guys on what I have been doing with the Chiefs.  I have been incredibly busy, and I am working like crazy.  Here is what I have done so far in a nutshell:

- worked an NFL game
- seen a B2 bomber
- filmed a Redline Chemistry show
- been to training camp
- seen how to produce a live event like a Chiefs game
- seen the Rams practice facility
- talked to a sniper who just got back from Iraq…

I have also met Lenny Dawson, Dick Vermeil, Mitch Holthus and many more.

I have already gone on several shoots this semester.
I have be able to work (so far) with two different kind of gear setups.  My favorite is most defiantly the Canon DSLR Kit.  They have a Canon 5d and Canon 7d in the kit.  These two cameras are unbelievable, and I will be posting some of the footage I have shot on my first couple times out.

I have learned a lot in the last few weeks about professional editing and how a large media company stays organized.  I am soaking up all this new information and really trying to find out why I am doing things instead of just learning what buttons to push.

During the open Chiefs practice tomorrow night, I will be shooting with the 7d, which I am very pumped about.  If you want to see the first thing I shot to go to KCChiefs.com, and check it out here.  It isn’t the most creative thing in the world, but give me a break—I have only been here two weeks!

Chiefs Update #1

and so it begins…

Tomorrow I begin my work with the Kansas City Chiefs.  I am currently writing this post from the Famers house, where I will be staying this semester.  I will keep sweitzer media as updated as possible during my time here in KC.

I know that I will be on my first shoot of the semester on friday. When I find out more about it, I will put it here first.

Basically, bookmark sweitzer media.  Lots of awesome things are gonna be happening here in the next semester.
